Robust Design
An example of our testament to Design & Quality, our Bi-metallic model boasts the durability of Stainless Steel with the Thermal benefits of Brass.
The Surgical Grade Stainless Face is secured to our Brass “Thermal Plate” using our proprietary expansion lock that becomes tighter as the brand warms up. The design provides even distribution of heat over the Stainless Steel face for a uniform impression across the entire logo with no image fade on the edges.
The high efficiency of this design eliminates the need for an oversized, overpowered bulky handle.
The brand face is 13 times harder than Aluminum brands from our competition protecting the fine details on your logo. The brand head can be removed and scrubbed without fear of wearing away the small details on your logo. It can even be thrown in the dishwasher!
Materials
Our Branding Irons and leather Stamps are made from a premium Brass Alloy (C360) with superior machinability.
Our professional Series employs Surgical Grade 304 Stainless Steel selected for high durability and use in the food industry.
A unique feature of our manufacturing process, Stress Relieving is a treatment involving “Soaking” the brass blanks at an elevated temperature prior to manufacturing.
This critical step removes residual stresses in the material, which may otherwise results in warping over time, especially common during reheat cycles with branding irons.
Stress Relieving
Don’t waste your money on cheap branding irons!
Here’s why:
Cheap Branding Irons are not stress relieved and warp over time resulting in an incomplete image transfer
Design standards. Due to limited interaction on Platforms such as Etsy or Amazon, Manufacturers will not interact with you to ensure your logo is legible in the size that you ordered.
At Uneak Creations, we verify all characters and line spacing to our internal standards for size to ensure your brand is able to produce clear images with limited bleed-in from the heat. We will refuse to build any brand that we feel will not perform adequately for the end user.
Not enough Thread Engagement - Brands made from thin material are fastened using barely a few threads - Once the steel handle pulls away from the soft Brass threads, the branding iron is garbage
Cheap Electric Brands, have thin copper cores to reduce costs. They take longer to heat and reach lower temperatures. The heat stays in the element reducing it’s life. They are made from thin stamped components and the brand head is only held in place with a single screw! The branding head will rock within the handle giving a flimsy feel, where you are not confident the brand face is sitting flat on the material.
No testing included. You will be the tester hoping for the best with no guarantee!
Cast alloy vs. Extruded. Cheap Brands are made from large cast plates and cut out in large quantities. Although this is great for the manufacturer, the cast material is full of internal stresses from cooling after casting. The material is not flat and becomes worse during and after machining. These brands produce an inconsistent image transfer that fades on the sides.
